I have a lot of fun experimenting in composing intrumental songs. It provides an enjoyable challege since I work primarily with voice/piano songwriting, and typically in a complicated pop genre with many influences in musical theatre, jazz and soul. I have tried my hand at composing things I believe would sound good in a video game - but due to my lack of funds for a super fancy-sounding program, these would more than likely have been featured back when midi was cool.
